G. Links with A Curriculum for Excellence in Scottish schools
Throughout the sections which illustrate the aspects of learning which MIICE is trying to articulate, there are references to one or more aspects of A Curriculum for Excellence which relate closely to the behaviour or activity which is being illustrated
The references are to the 'capacities' in the November 2004 document about A Curriculum for Excellence, which indicated that the purposes of the curriculum from 3-18 included the assertion that "our aspirations for all children and for every young person is that they should be successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors to society and at work"
